Kentaur

The Kentaur overdrive is R3D electronics' take on the classic Centaur.

You'll get all the sweet transparent overdrive that everyone has come to love plus more.

When it comes to this kind of overdrive, almost all players have their opinion on the "magic" diodes that go into the pedal.

We've tested and listened to hundreds of them, finally settling on new old stock germanium diodes that sound just as great as the originals, if not better.

We've paid special attention to the boost qualities of this overdrive that it's become famous for, giving you smooth compression and a fuller sound when the gain control is turned down.

This allows you and your amp to get everything they're capable of. When you do crank up the gain, you get a powerful overdrive that will take you to 11.

With two other controls to hone in on your sound, the “Output” control sets the overall volume.

The "Treble" control adjusts the characteristics of the overdrive tone, allowing for fine control to get your signature sound.

Also, just like the original, the Kentaur features an 18 volt charge pump that provides you with abundant headroom and increased definition.

All built by hand with the highest quality components, the famous Centaur buffer, and extremely high attention to detail.

The R3D electronics Kentaur overdrive is an extremely versatile, classic, and great sounding overdrive that will make you ask yourself "How did I ever live without this pedal?"

Goldfinger

Man has climbed Mount Everest, gone to the bottom of the ocean.

He's fired rockets at the Moon, split the atom, achieved miracles in every field of human endeavor... except FUZZ!

The Goldfinger Fuzz is R3D electronics' take on the very underappreciated Roland Bee Gee Fuzz Sustainer from the ‘70s.

Extremely articulate, smooth long sustain, and wooly.

We’ve updated the circuit using modern and higher quality components for a fuller, richer sound.

Simple two knob control that’s very responsive to changes in guitar volume, pick attack and tone adjustments.

All built by hand with the highest quality components, true bypass switching, and extremely high attention to detail.

The R3D electronics Goldfinger Fuzz is incredibly versatile and full of tone, the only fuzz with the Midas touch!

This is what fuzz should sound like, everything it touches turns to gold!

R3D electronics Goldfinger Fuzz Features:

Classic '70s Fuzz Tones

Tone & Output Level Controls

True Bypass

Super Fuzz

The R3D electronics Super Fuzz is our take on the Univox Super Fuzz by Shin-ei.

Hailed by many as the Holy Grail of fuzz pedals and made famous by Pete Townsend of The Who (Live at Leeds).

There are two unique features that set it apart from other distortion and fuzz boxes.

The first is that the full-wave rectification of the circuit produces an upper octave as well as a slight lower octave,
giving the sound tons of compression with a mild ring modulator effect.

The second is a tone control that engages a 1kHz filter that scoops the mids, providing a fat, bassy tone, unique to this circuit.

The R3D electronics Super Fuzz also features NOS germanium diodes to produce the square wave clipping.

The controls are Balance (Volume), Expander (Fuzz Level), and Tone.

The original Super Fuzz incorporated a tone switch that we’ve upgraded to a potentiometer.

You get the sounds of the original tone switch, plus all the sounds in between.

All built by hand with the highest quality components, true bypass switching, and extremely high attention to detail.

The R3D electronics Super Fuzz is a modern recreation of a classic with additional control.

R3D electronics Super Fuzz Features:

Modeled after the Univox Super Fuzz by Shin-ei

Balance: Adjusts volume output

Expander: Sets the amount of sustain and distortion

Tone: Controls the fuzz tone

Digital Reverb (Discontinued)

The R3D electronics Digital Reverb recreates the sound of the original chamber style reverberators.

Emulating physical space as a natural echo chamber, the result is a very natural and smooth reverb.

Based around the Accutronics® Digi-Log Reverb Module, there are two controls to dial in your sound.

A "Reverb" control for overall mix and a "Damp" control to add wetness and characteristics to the tone.

From mild to saturated, the R3D electronics Digital Reverb has you covered.

TremMellow (Discontinued)

The R3D electronics TremMellow. A simple, yet versatile tremolo that sounds great!

Volume, depth, and speed controls to fine tune your sound.

Features a super bright green LED that pulsates to the speed. A classic for any setup.

Peach Fuzz (Discontinued)

The Peach Fuzz is a clone of the original EHX Muff Fuzz.

A two transistor design loosely based on the fuzz face.

A pair of high gain transistors boosts the signal, and back to back diode clippers provide the fuzz.

Only one control here: VOLUME!

Oh yeah, did I mention it goes to 11?

R3D Rocket Booster (Discontinued)

The R3D Rocket Booster is a clone of the ZVEX Super Hard On.

A must for anyone needing an extra boost.

Great for old guitars with weak pickups to bring back clarity and definition.

When you crank this clean boost and it finally distorts, it creates an overdriven sound instead of fuzz.

Easy Squeezy (Discontinued)

The Easy Squeezy is a clone of the classic Dan Armstrong Orange Squeezer compressor.

The Easy Squeezy compresses the dynamics of individual notes without

affecting the attack and without adding any significant noise to the signal.

Legendary smooth compression and "squashing" tone!
